   I bet SF charges a hefty fine for an illegal dog

   At $26, it’s one of the few “bargains” left in City government. But who knew, when you got your dog vaccinated and got all his tags, that you still had to go through a separate process to get him registered.

   I have visions from old WWII movies as some scary uniformed character confronts Oscar: “Your papers are not in order.”

   This is hilarious! I didn’t even know dogs HAD to be registered — and yearly at that??

   I’m not sure it was a rule BEFORE but the City is scrambling for revenue.

   Good one Maybelline and Scooter! Oscar may be illegal, but he’s going light on the City services. And now that we mailed in the check, I guess he’s a bona fide taxpayer.
