Thanks for such a complete and thoughtful answer. We have grinding poverty in the United States, as you know, the difference being that we have the communication and cultural skills to deal with it in a sensitive manner. I can see that you and everyone in your group are making an effort to be as thoughtful and sensitive with the people of Tanzania and the Serengeti while you are traveling. It is interesting to learn that the people of the fishing village had the option of requesting visits by foreigners. Hopefully the people will become more educated as tourists continue to visit their village.
Thanks again for such a concerned response. I really do enjoy your blog and hope the rest of your trip is safe and you get to see more of the beauty of Africa.
